The service life of the cartridge depends on the quality of the source water and the consumption volume. As the cartridge combines several purification stages, its wear affects all filtration stages simultaneously. Delayed replacement can lead to a deterioration in water quality and a reduction in appliance performance. It is forbidden to use the filter with hot water (>38°C) as this destroys the structure of the membrane and the activated carbon.
