With the BEM IDA Hydrogen water filter, you are buying a versatile domestic water filter system for your kitchen. The table-top drinking water dispenser can be installed in a few simple steps and removes many different pollutants from tap water by filtering it effectively. Unlike a tap filter, the BEM IDA domestic water filter system is equipped with a reverse osmosis system as well as a rare earth thick film heater and solid phase extraction, which ensure that the water is thoroughly purified.

Many scientists recommend water enriched with hydrogen for health reasons. This is because hydrogen from hydrogenated water has an antioxidant effect on our bodies. Antioxidant means that the hydrogen binds the so-called free radicals, which are oxygen-rich elements that can cause cell ageing or malignant diseases. Hydrogen-rich water (also known as hydrogenated water) is therefore used to improve blood circulation, optimize digestion through the gastrointestinal tract, strengthen the immune system and slow down cell ageing. All this is done purely physically, without chemical additives and their side effects. This is because hydrogen is a completely natural element.

There are now over 1,000 scientific studies on the benefits of hydrogen-rich water. Many diseases have been treated with hydrogen-rich water with astonishing success. However, what interests many people much more is the answer to the question: "What does hydrogen-rich water taste like, how does it feel?" Most users report a very unusual experience when drinking hydrogen water: they want more of it! In other words, you get thirsty from drinking it, even if there is no salt in the water. The effect even works with completely desalinated reverse osmosis water that has been enriched with hydrogen, because hydrogen is the smallest of all molecules and is therefore a gas that overcomes all barriers in the body. Hydrogen in the body is a fast-acting signal molecule. This does not require large quantities of hydrogen, but only a short boost. For example, hydrogen in the stomach increases the release of the messenger substance GHRELIN, which stimulates the production of growth hormones. However, this only happens when we drink hydrogen-rich water. A much larger amount of hydrogen, which we can consume by inhaling hydrogen-rich air, for example, has no effect at all in this respect because contact is made via the lungs and not the stomach. This is why drinking hydrogen water has become established on the global markets much more quickly than inhalation, which only seems to make sense for certain diseases. This mainly concerns diseases that are associated with oxidative stress. In other words, free radicals for which the body does not have suitable quantities and types of antioxidants to render them harmless. It has been shown that hydrogen has selective antioxidant properties. It is a specialist for the worst of all free radicals, namely the DNA-damaging hydroxyl ion. Although it is not yet known exactly whether it directly extinguishes hydroxyl radicals or simply prevents them from forming, these radicals are massively reduced, which is good for everyone.

The use of UV light in the hygienic treatment of water not only has the advantage that potentially pathogenic germs are killed, which improves the taste and reduces the cleaning effort of the dispenser. The water purified in this way is also less contaminated overall, as the ultraviolet radiation leaves no residue - in contrast to disinfectant chemicals. This is therefore a particularly pure and healthy form of cleaning and water treatment, which is also good for the environment and your wallet in the long term. The versatile water filter system for your kitchen is equipped with six different temperature settings from +10 °C to +100 °C. With two different volume options, you have the option of filling 150 ml for small cups or 300 ml for large cups.

The filter system with reverse osmosis system can filter the pollutants present thanks to the high-quality technology and heat the thoroughly purified liquid. The integrated scalding protection with built-in anti-scald protection prevents injuries.

The housing of the BEM IDA Hydrogen water filter without tap filter is specially coated and does not heat up. The system is designed so that it can also be used safely by your children.

First purification stage - PAC composite filter
Cleans twice. Catches large particles of impurities such as dirt, silt, sand, chlorine, rust particles, etc. in the water.
Removes residual chlorine, bad odors and discoloration.

Second purification stage - RO 200G flux reverse osmosis membrane filter
High-tech reverse osmosis technology: The theoretical purification accuracy is 0.0001 micrometers. All larger particles are filtered out.
Removes harmful substances such as bacteria, heavy metals, limescale, pesticide residues, antibiotics, microorganisms and organic substances from the water.

Third purification stage - CF Weakly basic strontium-rich carbon rod filter:
The high-density carbon rod with an aperture of approx. 3-5 micrometres purifies the water once again, sterilizes it and enriches it with valuable minerals ( potassium, sodium, calcium (calcium), magnesium and strontium).
